The holidays are over and 2012 is in full swing. This is the time of year my office gets busy as couples who are ready to divorce start to move head. You see nobody wants to think about ending their marriage from Thanksgiving through New Years. These are the times for families and festivities. While the thought of divorce may have entered their mind before, the plans are usually put on hold until after New Years Day. The new year starts and people are ready to move on; very frequently both spouses. One of the decisions to be made which causes the spouses to perhaps pause in the process is how to pursue the divorce in a a more economical and less adversarial way .
Attached is a good article on the different alternatives available to avoid costly divorces. It outlines the many different ways to divorce other than going to court with the traditional litigation. By far, Collaborative Divorce is the best way to save costs, be involved in the final outcome in a civil dignified manner. Although each spouse has an attorney and there are usually other professionals involved, each spouse is empowered with deciding how the issues are to be resolved.
Instead of saying I can’t go for that, no can do; be open to the world of possibilities with Collaborative Divorce. Please call my office to find out more about how to divorce with dignity and understanding with a process that is easy as long as you are ready and willing with no overtime. Now is the time to stop asking where does it stop and draw the line.
This process works, this process is for you, this is Collaborative Divorce!
